Hey,
I had that kind of trouble with a Lumia 800 a yr ago. You may try a specific fundamental combination which is illustrated here: Nokia Lumia 920 hard reset. I needed a lot (like 25+) of tries, but information technology worked! No flashing, no fearfulness of bricking the device ;-)
Expert luck,

Have you tried waiting 470535 minutes? I think that might gear up it.
I'm kidding. Since you lot have the ability button issue, I would honestly look at an online teardown guide and take the device autonomously and try to repair the button. Is that inside the realm of possibility for you? Most are concerned with that sort of matter simply after watching a few tutorials, you might be able to figure it out...and so you can effort the other options to reboot. Just then again, if you go that far, and then you've probably already done enough to solve the result.
Likewise, bborrow a spare phone, and let the battery drain on yours. Indid that for my iPhone when my power push and screen failed. It finally died and when I charged information technology again it turned on normally.(lamentable for typos...when I utilize the wpcentral app I get double letters sometime. Non certain why. I'm editing when I find them but I'm lazy at the moment.)

Just soft reset the phone , untill it decreases to the smallest amount . I had this problem once . Just soft rest . Hold the VOLUME DOWN + Power push untill it shut down and vibrates .

If your mobile appears to be frozen there are a couple of things y'all can do to try and fix information technology.
Get-go, you need to try what is known every bit a 'soft reset'. If you tin, take the battery out, put it back in and plough the phone on. If yous can't have the battery out, effort this instead:
Press and concur down, at the same time, the Book (down) and Power buttons (they're on the side of the mobile)
Go along to agree down both buttons until the mobile turns off, which should take y'all around viii seconds
Plough the mobile back on and it should be working normallyNow, if that doesn't work, you lot may need to return the mobile to its mill settings.
This is a serious motility as information technology volition return the mobile to the state information technology was in earlier yous set anything upwardly on it. That means you lot will lose your contacts, your stored text messages, and whatever apps that you've downloaded to the mobile. As yous start to return the mobile to the factory settings, you lot volition see several warning messages to this issue. i hope i aid out that's what i do help people out
